Thanks for sharing e. regnans. You make the world a better place and you’ve encouraged me to put a little mindfulness into today. And that police diagram… sheesh!

Oh thanks Al. It’s so great to see you kicking goals in enviro & in eng. Exactly as I would have expected 29 years ago as we tried to work out buoyancy in the Baillieu library during swot vac.

Amazing and thoughtful reflection on the past decades. Wow. Such an innocuous slip into gravel. I’ve never forgotten my own slip coming off a hwy onto a slim country road onto which I turned too quickly into gravel!!!. It didn’t end like yours but could have in different circumstances.

Well done on your insight and ability to look back with so much goodness after such a trauma.

Keep on keeping on to you all.

Thanks very much Kate. Real sliding doors stuff. There's a line in a Cormac McCarthy book ("No country for old men") that says "You never know what worse luck your bad luck has saved you from."

I'm glad you got away with your slip in gravel.

Sometimes I feel annoyed - like it's not "fair" or whatever - to kind of live with one hand metaphorically tied behind my back. But life is not fair. And it could have been so much worse. The work is ongoing. And the work keeps bringing me back to gratitude and mindfulness. I (humbly) find it life-changing. Thanks!
